Best Automatic Vacuum and Mop Combos
The Narwal Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is one of the most effective combos that I've ever tried. Its base station has a large dustbin and water tank and its dual rubber brushes are less susceptible to hair tangles than single bristles.
Its mopping efficiency is impressive and its AI mapping is excellent at eliminating obstacles. It also has the capability to stop its cleaning task and resume it where it was when it stopped.
1. Roomba Combo j9+
The Roomba Combo J9+ is a 2-in-1 robot mop and vacuum cleaner that is among the most sophisticated available. It features an elegant self-emptying Clean Base that can hold up to two mopping cycles at a time and is designed to resemble a tiny table. It's also the only robotic mop we tested that comes with a water reservoir on board to automatically wash and refill the cleaning pads after each mopping and vacuum cycle.
The mopping arm is placed on top of the unit. It lowers when it spots hard surfaces, and starts to scrub. It moves slowly and cautiously over surfaces to make sure it doesn't accidentally splash wet spills or mud across carpeted areas. And it does a great job in keeping itself out of the way of furniture, cords and other obstacles.
It's smarter than the majority of robot vacuums, too, thanks to the iRobot Home app, which allows you to modify the settings of your cleaner prioritize rooms based on dirtiness setting cleaning times and schedules and more. The app also provides detailed maps of your home, seasonal tips and custom cleaning routines and smart home integrations that are intuitive.
The iRobot robot vac/mop utilizes the Imprint Smart Mapping Technology to recognize objects such as tables, sofas, and counters. And it can be controlled by Alexa, Google Assistant, or Siri to ensure that your home is clean and tidy.
Unlike other vacuum and mopping robots, the Roomba J9+ is able to create a complete map of your home seven times faster than the previous models and also labels each space by floor type, ensuring that it will always be aware of when to vacuum or mop where you want it. It also has an iRobot Turbo Mode that boosts suction in difficult areas. With iRobot's Dirt Detective, it will learn about your habits of cleaning and adjust the cleaning priorities and settings to the dirtiest areas of your home.
2. Yeedi M12 Pro+
The Yeedi M12 Pro+, with its user-friendly interface and premium features, is a strong competitor in the market of automatic mop and vacuum robots. Its suction power is powerful and innovative mopping technologies make it the perfect cleaning partner for smart homes. Its intelligent automation and affordable price make it a good choice for households that are on a budget.
To get started with the M12 device, simply download and open the Yeedi app and follow the on-screen instructions to connect to your Wi-Fi network. Once connected, you'll be asked to give your robot an individual name. The M12 only supports 2.4GHz networks.
The M12 provides a variety of cleaning options for vacuuming and mopping. Its clever design allows it to map a room in just six minutes and then adjust its cleaning route accordingly. Its advanced mopping features include dual spinning pads, as well as electronically controlled water and a "True Edge" Adaptive Edge Mopping System that ensures thorough cleaning of all edges.
In terms of navigation, the M12 utilizes LiDAR, IR, and 3D structured light to avoid obstacles. Its sensors do an excellent job of detecting larger items like furniture and HVAC vents. However, they may struggle with smaller objects like cables and small rags which can cause the robot to miss certain spots.
The M12's built-in inclinometer enables it to detect and navigate stairs. It can also be programmed to return to its OMNI station to wash and dry its mop brushes and refill its water tanks. When the batteries run out and the OMNI Station is empty, the OMNI Station can also clean itself and empty the trash bin when its batteries are low.
3. Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra
The Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra is the bleeding edge in robot cleaning, packing an amazing amount of features into an attractive package. It has a huge mopping capacity and cameras to assist in avoiding obstacles. It also comes with a powerful vacuum that senses when it is going over carpets. It also comes with advanced intelligence and voice assistant capabilities.
It's a fantastic vacuum cleaner and mop, and can complete our 1,500-square foot test area in about 101 minutes before running out of battery and returning to its dock. The mop automatically cleans itself between uses. This feature reduces the cost of maintenance while keeping the pads clean. Additionally it has a dock sensor that detects the moment that the mop's pad gets dirty and triggers washing to keep it clean.
Like its predecessors as well, the S8 MaxV Ultra features an intelligent system that recognizes objects of the home, such as pet waste and shoes using cameras and LIDAR combo. It performed well during our obstacle avoidance test with just one minor hiccup (it got stuck when unwinding a ball wool that was wrapped around its brush arm).
The S8 MaxV Ultra boasts a new 10,000pa suction power, more than double its predecessor. This makes it a good choice for homes with lots of carpeting and a variety of floor kinds. The vacuum can be programmed to automatically increase the suction when it moves over dust or crumbs.

Similar to previous models, there are docking stations that can be installed in different rooms to help make it easier to clean and mopping. The docking station can be connected to the plumbing system, and it will drain and refill the tank of water when you're done.
4. Dreametech X40 Ultra

It offers advanced options to customise the cleaning schedule. For example, you can choose a specific start and stop time for each cycle or whether it should clean carpets first before mopping. It can be instructed to clean up areas that are dirty and to increase its suction around cat litter and pet food bowls. The X40 Ultra can be programmed to perform specific tasks upon demand like cleaning the bathroom sink or kitchen sink. It can be programmed to automatically raise the front side of the brush when it detects wet spots, and clean up debris around corners and baseboards.
The X40 Ultra has a simple intuitive application that comes with many features. It is easy to use and set up. It is quieter than most corded vacuums and only the occasional low hum of its motor and bursts of suction when cleaning. Its navigation system is impressive and utilizes an image camera with 3D-structured light and multiple lasers to detect and avoid obstacles. this helps the X40 Ultra achieve one of the top scores for obstacles in our tests.
5. Eufy S1 Pro
The Eufy S1 Pro is an extremely powerful vacuum and mop combination that was designed to be user-friendly. The base station, which is gunmetal-colored, is self-emptying and it fills its own tank with clean water, automatically empties the dust bin into a smaller container, and washes and dries its own mop pad between cleaning sessions. It comes with advanced features that let it switch between hard and carpet surfaces, and remove pet hair from carpets, and clean raised room thresholds.
The S1 Pro's navigation and maps are excellent, with the dToF LiDAR system in the internal unit that allows it to keep an unobtrusive appearance while delivering top-notch objects avoidance. It can drive close to walls and avoid steps without crashing. good robot vacuum raises the mop when driving on short-pile or rugs carpets. It struggled a bit when it came across carpets with longer piles as well as there were a few large, thick piles of dried-on debris.
Like all robots that are available, the S1 Pro comes ready to take off from the box and only requires an initial mapping session to get it used to your home. Once that's done the map will be displayed in the app and rooms can be added or joined depending on the need. You can also set up virtual boundaries areas, no-go zones and no-mop areas if you don't want the robot to touch specific objects.
The S1 Pro is a great option for homes with different types of flooring as it can mop and vacuum. However its dependence on an Eufy-branded cleaning system (which is included in the box) makes it less flexible than other robots that let you create your own solutions. Its ability both to vacuum and mop is a great choice for homes that have two types of flooring. However, its dependence on Eufy cleaning products (which are included in the box), can make it less versatile than other robots which permit you to include your own cleaning solutions.
